I like this trade for the Blackhawks. Hagel is a great player, loved him in Chicago, but shooting at 22% and a team needing draft picks. Cant go wrong here. W for Chicago.
Good work Chicago, Tampa took a chomp, lets see if it works out, Tampa seems to be skilled in finding undrafted 20 year olds and making them great players sooooooooooo... still though Chicago wins this
am i the only one who doesnt like this trade for chicago? Hagel is super young and theres a big difference between giving up 2 firsts, and moving up from the early 4th to the late 1st. plus raddysh and katchouk are likely depth call up guys
Tampa secures their next Coleman for two late firsts and two 23 year olds. They're in win now mode, and their scouting staff will probably find the best player in the draft int he 6th round anyways lol.
This is a lot for Hagel but he's been stellar this season and is under a controllable contract for a good while. Tampa definitely can afford the 2 firsts and prospects to bring him in. I know a lot of Leafs fans are upset Toronto didn't pull the trigger on this but do you really want Dubas putting two firsts in for a guy shooting over 20% when the team hasn't moved beyond the first round? Especially when the issues are in the crease and not at forward; Leafs have a ton of forward prospects in the pipeline whereas Tampa has been hemorrhaging those guys.
Risky deal for Tampa but it won't matter if they win a few more rings.

still TWO firsts for a youngish 2 line forward (which is something that tampa could probably easily get the draft because they are so good at drafting) who is scoring at a unsustainable rate this year
Massive Overpay, but it might be a win for Tampa if they win the cup with him. Hagel could be a replacement from either Goodrow or Coleman from last season.
I don't care if tampa wins a cup, this is an INSANE return.
I guess the 4ths cover for raddysh and katchouk, so it's 2 1sts.
But, I'm wondering, why isn't tampa trading this years 1st??
Imo the only holes they have is, a top4 RD, and an average backup goalie.
Zub + Forsberg ?
