Yawn, if only there was people telling you guys to trust the comps.
Enjoy Bahl.
If he can clean up the penalties and improve his passing and actually remember that he's 6 foot 6 he'll be a decent player.
You have been pounding the payment that he's worth a 2nd at most... I mean you can try do a complete reverse on all that and pretend you like the deal but he got a 1st round pick for a 34 year old goalie who is excellent every second year!
Crazy trade, tough to get my head aroud who won... but for sure MTL is not getting that second round pick (Allen playing 40+ games)
Still a chance they move him for their other inhouse options, where he would possibly have the opportunity for more play time. Or the inevitable injury risk could come into play as well.
Someone remind me to come back later. Last time I hated a trace between these 2, it resulted in one of my favorite players coming to CGY(Sharangovich)
That is cool to hear. I knew that you all would love Sharangovich…he is one of the more likeable players in league. I hope Calgary locks him up long-term.
Bahl…is…um…a guy. Big, quiet feller. He is good defensively in d-zone, disrupting in corners and near net. Mostly gets by on transition defense with his long reach. His d-zone exits and passing through neutral zone are his weakness. A lot of passes in the skates. In o-zone, he has an okay shot that can get on net occasionally. For being 6’6” or 6’7” he skates pretty well for his size. Can lay the boom from time to time, but probably less physical impact than Okhotiuk. If he can figure out puck skills and puck protection, he could be promising dman.

Also penalties. The amount of penalties he takes is awful

Except at the TDL they had a better offer before Conroy refused to retain money. This is DRAFTDAY.. I want my picks back, and I want David god damn Putney, just because I feel like it.

Devils fans were sending 2nds for this guy & are now acting like Fitz fleeced.

Playing next to either Weegar or Andersson should be good for him, especially if he is on the 2nd pair and not asked to do too much, but in Calgary there isn't a lot of options for their top pair on the left side right now (Kylington or Bahl).
