While I do think Boston can revive Korpisalo career still an awful return

They should of asked for elite prospect Tyler Boucher

If BOS can work its magic with Korpisalo they win and watch Kastelic be a key part of their bottom 6 as they also got magic in that department to

Like I would not be surprised if Ullmark fumbles like Murray and Korpisalo before him

But lets see

On the one hand, Staios killed the goalie hug.

On the other hand, upgrading Korpi into a real starting trendy without giving up significant assets is a huge Sens W and I'm so ****ing here for it.

This might be the worst trade I’ve seen Boston make in a long time


Korpi sucks. He has a big and long contract left even with retention. A first and a fourth liner ain’t nearly worth the Ullmark and Korpi swap

For real though, this is a fantastic deal for Ottawa. 1mil retained for Korpisalo is WAY less than I'd thought they'd need to get rid of him.

I was fully prepared for it to be Chychrun, the 1st and Forsberg for Ullmark and Lauko, and this is WAY better than that. And they can still trade Chychrun

All that said, Korpisalo will probably be a fine backup to Swayman

Goalies are such a wild ride that who knows. Sens fans gotta feel better about their goalie situation, but retaining for four years also sucks. Idk how I feel. Ask me in a year, lol.

Seeing a lot of BOS fans over valuing Ullmark. This is the market for pending ufa starters.

Although getting Korpi retained is pretty nice. Will likely see his numbers rebound in BOS, then possibly move him for more assets.

Kastelic means Maroon is for sure gone. There's your new 4th line bruiser.

This deal is so reassuring that things under the new regime are actually gonna be different

Wow I guess his full no move really screwed the Bruins here.

The question is who in their right mind wants to play in Ottawa?

Could end up not really mattering as Ottawa has much bigger issues than who is in net.

I think it's possible, I just don't understand why they would care to bother trying. They're a cash strapped team, so a $3 million backup goalie that might revive his career is risky. Especially when they've got Brandon Bussi sitting in the minors who I thought was meant to be the backup soon, if not this year.

To all the Boston fans who said Chychrun AND the 25th pick for Ullmark or tried to mention Pinto.

This is considerably less than just the 25th as all of the Sens fans on here have been lobbying to you.

Assuming this was the best offer why not just keep him at that point. They only clear 1.2/2 million in cap space just simply not enough imo
