Never seen conditions on a pick if a player never plays in the playoffs lol 😂. My question is if patt plays one game and gets suspended mid game is it a game??

Tampa gets a VERY underrated player for Pennies. Master class by Tampa.

Pathetic trade by the pens. They did get some very promising players and getting a Center is not always the worst idea but the concept of a conditional first for the cup final is just terrible. Even Vegas who most would agree is at least on par with the Canes are just as good yet give up a first for Hanifin. This trade could have really propelled the Pens “rebuild/retool” or whatever the pens want to label it as. The Canes here get a scorer that they have desperately needed and will most likely be able to re-sign after the playoffs. Could even out at the end but looks like a huge steal for the Canes due to the lack of a first. How do you not get a first for a first liner.

(MTL/WPG) - Monahan for 2024 1st (WPG), 2027 3rd (WPG)
Fair deal on both sides imo. Jets have Montreals 2nd from the PLD trade anyway so we are probably gonna only slide 10-15 picks outside of the first. Excellent asset management from both sides. Jets don’t need a first this year with how well we have drafted. Would rather pay this price than what the Canucks paid for a dude who hasn’t scored a goal in almost half the season.

Toronto Maple Leafs signed William Nylander (8 Years / $11,500,000 AAV)
They won’t win with this core now…
Should’ve kept Dubas.
This is what happens when you sign the guy who paid and traded for Jonathan Huberdeau!!
And for those leafs fans who are drinking copium. You just signed a guy to 11.5 who does not play defensively, go in corners, and has incredible lows in performance randomly throughout the season. This is the first season he has been consistently DECENT!! Not to mention that since it’s 8 yrs he’s gonna fall off hard on the later half of the deal!! WINGERS ARE NOT WORTH 11+ in this cap unless they can run a line with no other superstars (something Willy can’t do and never will be able to do). The only way this cap hit would have been justified is if the deal was half as long.
Worst signing of this season so far no if ands or buts about it. Enjoy your cupless rebuild in 5-7 years.

Seattle Kraken signed Vince Dunn (4 Years / $7,350,000 AAV)
Better than Filip Hronek, Nurse, Krug, Seth Jones, and many more who make equal or more than him. Great contract. Will be curious how this affects other signings for defenders. Especially when I would not consider him an elite defender but a very good one. Has the possibility to be 1 mill to much but it could be much worse. This is very trade-able if needed.

Yeah, we paid a heavy tax to come to CA as a UFA, the deal is probably 1M AAV more than he is really worth, but that 1M wont hurt us the next three years.</div></div>
Still funny tho. Yea cap really don’t matter for the Ducks RN.

Ottawa trades Murray and Filip Gustavsson and go for a veteran goalie…
Great now we should not need a goalie for a while! It’s not like old goaltenders get hurt or anything…
Proceeds to have some of the worst goaltending in the league…
QUICK OVERPAY A GOALIE WHO HAS ONLY WON 1 PLAYOFF ROUND AND IS INCREDIBLY INCONSISTENT!! Heck he hasn’t even played a full season healthy what’s the worry??!! It’s not like he will turn into Matt Murray 2.0!
A CAREER GAA OVER 3 IS EXACTLY WHAT WILL PUSH US TO THE PLAYOFFS!!
What’s that?
DeBrincat still isn’t signed…

If he hits his 2LD ceiling the contract isn't even much of a bargain (more like going rate than anything else) so I don't see the upside considering they'll have other dman to spend money on soon.</div></div>
Incorrect on the going rate buddy. The cap will be going up by so much that this will look like a bargain for a 2d if he makes it. This deal is still very high risk high reward.

Such a clear Vegas Dub its not even funny. Good rental and get rid of useless Dadonov. Ryan on LTIR is a nice touch too. All yall are either dumb or really hate Vegas because now they dont have to worry about being over the cap. (THEY HAD TO MOVE AT LEAST 5 MILL!!). I will agree though that the dadonov trade in the summer will leave many scratching their head. Dont care tho cuz this is a Vegas W
