Chicago could also sign Ethan Bear when he is ready to return to help fill that spot and re-establish his NHL value (especially since they have cap space to give more than a minimum deal).

Pinto literally just saved the Sens a couple mil. Dorion (per multiple reports) has rescinded all contract offers - expectation is they’re gonna sign his QO or even lesser (if possible).

I mean I don’t necessarily agree on suspending a player for gambling (it wasn’t even on NHL games confirmed by the NHL) in other facets but Sens hold out works out for them in the end.

This amounts more to a half-season ban, and apparently started at game one for Ottawa. Which means they don't need to sign him until then, I suppose. Good news for Sens fans, I suppose.

Both goalies have been pretty bad, but Hamilton needs to start playing defense. He was burned for several 2 on 1's last night. That's been the biggest difference from last year so far. The team looks like they want to win every game by trading chances rather than doing what they did last year.
