Some guys just dont do 8 year deals it happens.

On-ice-wise Kessel is similar to previous Armstrong pickups such as James Neal, Mike Hoffman, etc and maybe provides some gap if Vrana isn’t an option.

That seems bold. Id Take Makar - Teows, Dahlin - Samuelson, McAvoy - Lindholm, Fox - Lingren, and Seigs - Hamilton over them.

Makar-Toews and Lindgren-Fox are the only two D pairs that are definitely better.

I dont think it’s a bold take at all. Ekholm-Bouchard is in the same mold as Toews-Makar, just a poor man’s version. Two elite top pair guys with no weaknesses at even strength
