I'd guess 4-6 games. Kneeing tends to be 2 (which is absurdly low for most incidents - especially where an injury occurs), but he's been suspended twice since the 2021 playoffs.

Dallas will have the best center core in the near future. Hintz, Johnston, Seguin, Dellandrea, Bourque, Stankoven. A couple of them will have to go winger (most likely Stankoven and Bourque)

Buffalo is a serious contender for the wild card. And they have 0 available rentals so I would imagine they are not going to fall hard for Bedard.

Take out the anomaly of the season which was an 8 game losing streak in which they lost games to VGK, BOS, TBL, TOR, and CAR there record would be at 16-6-2 which is the 3rd highest point percentage in the league after only BOS and CAR. Most of the losing was because of the injuries we had, and youth getting frustrated and not knowing how to break out.

An unfortunate turn of events in November but 75% if the season so far your talking about a best team in the league.

Mikko Rantanen had 31 SOG in only 3 games played this week. Since Nate's injury, he's put the Avs on his back w/ 9G in 10 GP. I never realized just how dominant he is - probably b/c he's played in MacKinnon's and Makar's shadows the last couple years. Sorta reminds me of NRH up in Edmonton, just better. I think Mikko is cementing himself as a top 10 player in the NHL, which I know is a bold statement.

Your telling me Buffalo, the highest scoring team in the league who had started to get consistent goaltending. Is not capable of making up 3 games with 3 in hand on 9th place NYI and 4 games with 4 in hand on the Capitols. I think there is a serious argument that this is a 10 horse race because buffalo will only buy this year. Buffalo also has a Hart candidate, Norris Candidate, and 3 calder Candidates on there roster right now.
