Would be happy with both of those. It's Mayfield and Hagg for me on the wishlist. Bring Hanley back as the 7th dman again.

In addition to buying out Suter (Conn Smythe winner if Vegas wins the Cup IMO), would like to see the Stars trade Hakanpaa and Miller to completely revamp the D core around Heiskanen, Lindell, Harley, and Lundkvist.

Buy out Ryan Suter. Anything else beyond that is just gravy.

Just Ryan Suter doing typical Ryan Suter things...Stars fans are used to this now. He's got to have a big bet on Vegas or something...nobody can possibly be this big of a moron.

My thinking for the pairings were:
Harley Heiskanen

Hanley Petrovic/Miller

I wonder if anyone actually will, given how deep we are into this series. Both teams have really been trying to avoid penalties as much as they can. Although maybe Kolesar will go after him?

My game 6 lineup adjustment would be to sit Marchment now that Benn is back. Bench Suter and play Miller or Petrovic instead.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>justaBoss</b></div><div>Difference between Miro and Klingberg is massive though. One is able to play any role, the other was exclusively offensive.</div></div>
The point I was trying to make is that I think pairing him with Lindell gives him the opportunities to put up the offensive numbers needed to be a Norris trophy winner, while being part of a rock solid top pair defensively.
Although in the same vein as your comments on Klingberg, Lindell could probably help Nils if they were paired together. I just think he's too talented to be playing on a 3rd pair.

I look at what Klingberg's numbers were like when he was paired with Lindell and can only imagine that Heiskanen's would be insane with that kind of defensive support allowing him to push forward even more.

Lindell and Heiskanen should be our top pair next year after they return from their respective hernia surgeries from carrying pairings with ECHL level partners all season.

Since we're tied after 2...I'm gonna make my GWG prediction early in case the next goal is the one that decides it.

-5 while being paired with Heiskanen AND getting a lot of time on the ice with the Robertson, Hintz, Pavelski line...let that sink in.

Food for thought. Without Suter, Dallas is likely up 3-1 in this series with a 2-0 lead in game 5... If Vegas wins the Cup, then CF needs to award Ryan Suter the internet Conn Smythe trophy. Truly an unparalleled talent on display in the WCF.

Top notch defense by Ryan Suter on that goal.... Barbashev attacking the net with the puck and this clown turns around and starts skating AWAY from the goal. I swear this dude is gonna get busted for sports betting and trying to throw games. There's no way someone can be that incompetent.

Well...there goes my dream of Gudas signing with the Stars this summer. The premium on Florida FA's this summer likely makes him too expensive now.
