But he was just listed as the most over-rated player in the league. He is super skilled and talent and he scores highlight reel goals BUT he has been 1 dimensional so far and he has not taken his game to a super star level yet. He had 2 good star seasons but has regressed this year.

Zegras is not for you if….you prefer to watch a bunch of big bodies bounce into each other….you cringe at skill plays taking a larger share of highlight reels….if you see hits, even from top six, as key to success.

Zegras is for you if…you need to open up the ice…you have shooters, need feeders….you enjoy a good magic show from time to time.

How many guys can you count that have but a team on their back and carried them to gold at world juniors? Zegras has eventually exceeded expectations at every level he has played…and is still a kid. He will likely have multiple 100-point seasons in his career and people are offering dog biscuits for him.

Zegras is in that tier where he's too good to be a part of the supporting cast but not good enough to be truly one of the stars of the league (kind of in that Boone Jenner tier, if you will) which frustrates guys bc of his skill level
