His comment was very insulting though.
And as you can copy paste what I told him, and apply it here.
Nah they where not insulting, they where just truthful and there for hurt your feelings a little bit. Sometimes people makes bad takes, he said your takes sometimes just stink.

And there isn't something wrong with intentionally trying to hurt someone's feelings?
i think you'll do pretty good. i'm not as optimistic about boston or dallas (sorry) and i think buffalo, devils, islanders, and minny do a bit better.
lol at toronto getting knocked out in the 1st again. im sure there will be riots if that happens. i hope the avs dont lose in the finals but the canes have a strong team.

Is the plan still for you to get banned if Dubas isn’t fired?
Sometimes I’ll look at the New York Islanders forward group and start crying
Where are the Isles headed in the future? Not really any good prospects, forwards not good enough to contend. Seems like the Isles are stuck in mediocrity

Raty is a very good prospect but that’s about it. They’re going to suck for the next couple of years. That’s what happens when your 80 year old gm loses his best dman and best winger in 2/3 offseason and does nothing to replace them

The canucks and islanders are in the same exact spot except with the Canucks it’s with the defense , isles with the offense.
Raty is one of the better prospects in the league, I wouldn’t say they don’t have any good prospects. Just not a deep prospect pool from trading a lot of their 1st rd picks

The isles will either finish 3rd in the metro or dead last. It really depends on how Lambert constructs the forward group and who he allocates the most ice time to. The isles have a few breakout candidates at forward, we’ll see what happens

Only breakout candidates I can think of is Beauvillier and Wahlstrom

If Beauvillier plays like he did from from 2018-2021 and plays with Barzal , he’ll put up 30 goals next season.
Wahlstrom has been one of their better two way forwards over the last two years playing with below average QOT. If he gets an opportunity to play with Nelson or Barzal in the top 6, he’ll have a solid year. He had a low PDO last season, he’s due for positive regression.
At the end of the day, the isles could make the playoffs by simply demoting some of their awful vets and constructing high upside lines. If Bailey is in the top 6 and the 4th line stays together they’re finishing 8th in the division. This team can’t afford to have a replacement level forward like bailey eat 18 min per game

Canucks are in a bit of a better position because we are realistically only 2 top 4RD away from playoff contention. The Isles really need to completely revamp their middle six

Canucks have 15.5 mill Committed to Myers, OEL and Poolman. The only one who is a top 4 D man (barely) is OEL and he can fall off a cliff at any moment. 2 top 4 RHD are hard to acquire and they don’t have any RD in the system with top 4 upside.
Isles middle 6 is their strength. The main problem is that last season the isles refused to give Barzal players that compliment him and they were unwilling to take calculated risks and give him high upside linemates. It’s hard to be a good team without a legitimate top line. During their ECF runs they had Eberle who was an elite play driver.

Dont worry, once Barzal leaves for the Canucks, he will have all the complementary forwards he could want
