It is quite crazy the absolute tear Dorion put on this offseason.
I mean, hes been a rabid animal since being cut off the leash of Melnyk.

The sheer change of what he has done in Ottawa should not be under stated. Yes maybe the Sens are already being "beat like a dead horse" by fans but when was the last time we saw this drastic of a summer. Not just notable moves; but massive, culture changing directions.

- Ottawa, questionable UFA market? Signs their massive ticket - Giroux
- Acquire Debrincat for basically the same price as Dach/ Romanov lol
- Move an anchor contract for negligible cost
- Provide a veteran, comfortable goalie tandem (my big question mark tho)
- Extend their hopeful 1C to a long term deal
- Extend their hopeful 2C to a long term deal
- Extend Joseph to a friendly deal
- Oh and they still have 7 picks across the next three years in the first two rounds (3 1sts, 4 seconds)
- Did not lose any of their desirable prospects
- The last two comments then aid the worry of "what about the D tho?"

Idk man. MacFarland trading and signing Georgiev to 3.4m and Manson at 4.5 seem like major Ls to me.
Could've spent that 7.9m aav a lot more efficiently.

manson wont age well but he's worth that to the avs now.

georgev is a major question mark. if he can play .915% hockey then it's worth it. not a fan of the move but the avs proved they can win the cup with average goaltending.

Yeah especially if he gets to play with Debrincat and Giroux.

Kyrous deployment was weird last season. He mostly played middle 6 minutes against tough competition and produced at a superstar rate. He should be averaging 20 min

If Wpg misses the playoffs again I say blow it up and rebuild

As honestly why waste the talents of these guys when you can sell them off and get massive hauls to start a nice rebuild around Heinola, Perfetti, Samberg, Lambert, etc.
