Hey all I’m saying; I never bought into the kool aid that had some people having faith in Barrie, Ceci, Keith, Kulak, and not Nurse the player but specifically Nurses 9.6m aav (not the player himself) - make or break game 3 ahead.

Every goal from Round 1. If willing, like and subscribe to this guy's channel-he puts a lot of work into these and has a ton of great montages (Every OT goal from this year, every playoff OT goal from the 2010's, etc.). And in case you think it's me, the guy's a Sens fan.

I don't think anyone's bought the Oilers blueline beyond Bouchard and flashes of Ceci and Kulak this postseason. This run has been fueled by two demigods on ice and Smith evading father time one last time. Never been in question.

You say game 3 is make-or-break, I'll double down and say games 3 and 4 are going to be the most important Oilers games since 2006. We've seen flawed rosters win the cup (look at EVERY Penguins win with Crosby). If it's going to happen, it must be with the series going back to Colorado tied. The Oilers can steal one in Colorado, never two. Not like how the Avalanche showed tonight. They give them an inch in Roger's Place, they'll take a mile and then it's over.

I’m just not sure how the Oilers are going to overcome the Avs tho. They may just need to get back to run and gun offence and play with a little more confidence idk. That game was a really hard game to lose in the way the Oilers did. If it was like 4-2 or 4-3 yeah whatever but 4-0 should get under the Oilers skin - they shouldn’t be upset they need to get determined.

If they lose the first period again tomorrow I think the series is a wrap. If they can get a few steals by Smith and get a little crazy game going again offensively I think they can win it.

Darnell Nurse has been on the ice for every goal but one for the avalanche this series. At least he’s on a steal of a contract

I'm not worried about any consequences of Holloway jumping in to a top-six role right away: it's for 2 to 11 games. Small sample size.
