If that was true this series would have been over after game 4. He broke a record held by the greatest player in the game. He’s a phenomenal player, the best since Mario. He deserved it. No one on FL stood out enough to deserve it.

Actually, game 4 was already decided before he scored any of his 4 points. He had one game out of 7 where he made the difference. Bob had a couple bad games but he was absolutely huge in 3 of the 4 wins for Florida. But I respect your opinion. Obviously, I’m in the minority here.

There are 2 Canadian markets that have earned the right to win the Cup: Vancouver & Winnipeg. I would be cool with either or winning it all in the next 5-10 years.

Yeah, I thought it was strange for a coach to say he wishes a team that's not the one he works for would win the next cup. I wouldn't read too much into it though. He was obviously overcome with emotion and just letting it all out without really thinking about what he was saying.
