Montreal can only take Calgary's pick this year if it is between 20 and 32. If it's better, we get into next year with all the permutations.

I thought 11 or later it moves…my mistake.

Guessing emergence of MINNY's RD Faber allowed for the Addison move earlier this season??
BF looks strong back there - poise, great skater, heady, ceiling must be #1/2...

Welcome to 2023, McGruff

Welcome to 2023, McGruff

I guess I should laugh at me...

I don't watch MINNY nightly or anything.
I brought the issue up after recalling @ the time of the trade-out of town = there was many posters thinking why the move??
...Only took me a few months to connect the dots, or X's-O's!

Is this a mistake? Logan Stankoven Scouting Report

Before playing a single NHL game he is listed as an 89 overall 2nd liner while Matt Duchene is rated as a 85 overall 2nd liner. I know there are different overall rating scales but as far as I can tell they are rated in the same scale since they are both listed at the same talent type (professional), position (centre), projection (2nd line), and trending (under NHL contract)

the scouting reports seem to be based on the level of competition they face. So Stankoven is rated as an 89 against 2nd line AHL competition while Duchene is rated 85 against 2nd line NHL competition (or at least that's what I've gotten from this)

Faber was an LA draftee - then poof - he's in MINNY?
Did not see any trade info or FA mentioned in the player summary; how'd LA lose him?

Fiala trade…he was a top player in NCAA for couple years. First team All American, two time defensive player of year in big ten, big part of national teams.

Fiala trade. He hadn't signed yet so it was for his rights.

Parros strikes again

And Bettman's 11 page thing brings all this into perspective

They only punish when they feel like it. This should have been 1-2 games but nah they went oh he got kicked out good enough

So now players will go this is fine. I just get kicked for remaining time of game

Spin the wheel! No Leafs tax in the bonus round!

That makes the most sense to me but if that's what they mean then there should be something indicating he is being evaluated based on AHL standards

We shouldn't have to guess what scale they are being scored on

We are two weeks from trade deadline....and two NHL GMs (and multiple scouts) are at the Quinnipiac/Brown game.

Collin Graf is a big deal, people.

Welp... looks like the net picked the right morning to go out. This Blues team is so fickle if Dr. Jekyll saw them play he'd say "Wow, those guys are really symptomatic of a condition I dare not speak its name even though its famously associated with my classic character worldwide and any long-winded beat around the bushes explanation entirely ruins the widely common reference."

That takedown was in desperation because he's very likely concussed (def has large contusion).
Good thing Rempe didn't smash the back of his head there.

If ND finishes this game or gets past the spotters, I'd be shocked.

Nah lul, Des didnt do it out of desperation basically showed who the vet was and whose got the better skills. He could have kept pounding Rempe who was vulnerable with his jersey up but knew it was time to end it so one hand slammed him.

Rempe probs wishing he was suspended lul

Hes got a lot to learn as there be guys who can scrap better

Rempe career

Game 1: gets in fight on first shift (0:01) into career
Game 2: does nothing
Game 3: one shift (0:13), takes run at Bastian, kicked out
Game 4: gets in fight on first shift (0:14)

Zero redeeming qualities outside of trying to injure opponents.

It should be open season on Fox, Panarin, etc

Ontop of this; 6’8’’ is kinda problematic. Deslauriers Is 7 inches shorter. That’s a whole lot when it comes to fist fighting. Is unfortunate, but Rempe is going to have the issue of not having many fair combatants. Probably don’t want to give the other team some impression you’ve fought out of your weight class, or they may go looking for individuals too.

I mean being 7 inches shorter didnt stop him from the takedown win

Even rangers fans on twitter be saying Des won even if it was by a small margin
