Okay that Redwings deal smells an awful lot like total bs, but the idea that the Habs chose Reinbacher over potentially having Cossa, Benson and Sandin-Pellika is absolutely hilarious, so I'm all for it

Highly doubt Yzerman offered all that to move up to 5. That is essentially 3 1st round picks one in the top 10 and 2 in the top 20.

My instinct is to say 'sure, sure buddy'...but instead let's agree that idi**s and trolls are all over the internet. let's not care about them.
But let's face it, if any 1st rd pick is offered for Josh Anderson the Habs would have to listen. Maybe not 32d overall to TBL or Boston, but no GM would offer a ridiculous high pick for him

If he turned down Nemec and a 1st for Anderson... he should never have a job EVER.

        0% chance that happened.

If I were Hughes and someone offered to take Anderson's contract in full, I'd accept no matter what the return is. The cap space is far more valuable than whatever it is Anderson does.

Then Hughes is the worst GM in NHL history for declining these trades. They favor Montreal so much that you really can't even be mad because you're laughing so hard.

Then Hughes is the worst GM in NHL history for declining these trades. They favor Montreal so much that you really can't even be mad because you're laughing so hard.

His reasoning for not drafting Michkov was they never scouted him live. But they also never scouted Reinbacher live…and said they wouldn’t have touched him if he were a lefty.

I would certainly have questions if I were a fan

If I were Hughes and someone offered to take Anderson's contract in full, I'd accept no matter what the return is. The cap space is far more valuable than whatever it is Anderson does.

        lol, 'sure, sure buddy'

Lol, what lies. What's your source for this exactly?
There is no way Hughes would have rejected that NJD deal.

Where were you six months ago?

        lol buddy stop lying nonsense
*Edit, however, I will say...I did hear him say they didn't scout Michkov live. And...I don't know the entire political situation, but...The Habs head of amateur scouting is Russian. How is it the Habs didn't spend time scouting a potential elite forward in Russia when they have Russians who can travel there?!?!?!
