Today I found out that Matthew Beniers was allowed to play 10 games last season and not 9.
Why would the Kraken front office just throw away one year of his ELC when he didn't play the entire season with them in the first place?

Power and Beniers where not slide eligible I believe anyway. So I don't think it mattered if he played 9 or 10.

Beniers was not slide eligible, per CF ELC Slide Tool the wasted slide this year was Lukas Reichel who played 11 games with the Hawks

They signed later in the season I believe and their birthday's factored in on the day of the signing
