We aren’t trading a top 10 pick for Zegras lol. If we do trade our top 10 pick, it’s for Mercer, Necas, Kyrou or any good defensively PPG forward. Any forward in the top 10 will very likely be way better than Zegras. We are building for the future, not to be mid 2-3 years then it’s over and we have to rebuild again
Good options to go for. Not sure any of those teams are looking to move those players for picks though or at all for that matter. Good luck in your search though.

If you use Debrincat as a comparable it would be more like the 2024 1st (top 10 pick) plus a 2nd and a 3rd. No need to include Barron.
Different situation though as OTT had to move DeBrincat as they couldn't afford his next contract. We don't have to move Z. PV even said that GMs came calling after rumours. He didn't actively look to shop the kid. I doubt we'd move Zegras for a top 10 pick and few additional picks. You're basically converting a proven talent into a prospect you hope turns into Zegras + some other prospects with a low chance of success at the NHL. It also delays our rebuild. Pass. Need a proven piece coming along with the picks or, better yet, a proven piece of equivalent age alone.

I think the third and the seventh are too much but I'll also agree with ShaneSaw9 -- take out Barron and the seventh and it would be a fair offer.
But you guys don't have to keep worrying about it -- Zegras isn't on the market.
Hasn't it occurred to you Habs fans that the only people posting ACGMs with Zegras-to-Montreal trades are Canadiens stalwarts? It's you guys who want him -- not us Anaheim adherents who want someone different, or want him to be gone.
I think it is a good offer, but I'd pass personally. For me it's Reinbacher+ or Slaf straight up. The rest doesn't really make. We don't need more picks and prospects unless they are highly-touted, fill a need, and close to/in the NHL already.
