Mike Grier is the man when it comes to tanking. The only issue is that he isn't particularly good at selling off useful assets for value. What a fall from grace for the Sharks... Hope Celebrini is worth it

I honestly feel really bad for Hertl and Couture. Those contracts are so tough to move but they are locked in long-term to this mess.

When the Avs had their worst season ever; the hockey wasn't this bad. They were losing but it you could see that it was just because of the system and off-season drama of Patrick Roy leaving short notice and Bednar coming in cold with no prep time. Their talent was there. I remember posting that they were the "best" losing team I had ever seen. The Sharks however are an absolute dumpster fire.

Only 10,000 people showed up for the game vs Vancouver, I’d say around 2/3 of that arena left midway through the second period

Watched the game till the Boeser goal (so just about 2 minutes lol), I said “yeah this ain’t gonna get better”

So with most teams having played about 10 games, there are 2 teams with no regulation losses: Vegas and Boston, while 1 team has no wins: SJ (oof)

This Sharks team might be the worst team ever. I've never seen a team so ****ing horrible in the very basics of playing hockey. I have truly never seen anything like this before, even those Buffalo and Edmonton teams that tanked weren't this.

It's wild how soon they've given up. It's not like they're this bad. We've seen Coyote rosters with 1/10th of the skill level.

They should send Eklund down to the AHL; he shouldn't be tainted with this type of hockey in his development; none of their young players should.

It's very evident Couture is missing. Hasn't been around since training camp. And I don't think Quinn is or ever was the right coach for a rebuild/ tank. Don't feel like he's ever "had the team" on his leash.

So, TImothy Liljegren is out for a "significant amount of time" after Marchand did his Marchand thing.
