One of the reasons I picked the Oilers to win the cup is for the first time in the Mcdavid era the Oilers have a competent bottom 6 - The Foegle-Mcleod-Ryan line reminds me of the Goodrow-Gourde-Coleman line that Tampa had on their cup runs.

Goodrow-Gourde-Coleman was a menace never looking bad once and felt like a 2nd line. Foegle-Mcleod-Ryan is not even close. They look okay and got stats that dont seem sustainable but are not in the same conversation as that Tampa god line. As that line could push for a 2nd line on any other team. I got a feeling a drop-off is gonna happen sooner or later.

In general lot of 4th lines looking like wow factors this playoffs (stats wise) but in some cases stats can be deceiving as u wouldnt view them as game changers based on certain results.

What Foegle-Mcleod-Ryan are doing is sustainable. They are dominating possession and not giving up anything defensively. It's not like they are on shooting benders, theyre controlling play and being opportunistic. They aren't better than Gourde's line, but that oilers line got 2nd line minutes last night and were matched up against Fiala's . In 11:34 min of ice time, high danger chances were 3-0 and the outscored the kinds 1-0.
