I hear ya on Stankoven, but would rather see them ease him into the NHL and get someone at the deadline who can be a 2nd line RW for the rest of this season and next, before sliding up to take over for Pavs (gotta imagine that he's retiring after 23-24 season since he will be 40) on the top line. I guess Kane is the only one available who would fit that bill and he will be expensive.

With how overpriced Kane will likely be, I wonder if Nill would make a move for someone like Sheary as a rental...or try to get Puljujarvi at a discount and hope the Finnish Mafia can get him to play better. Obviously neither guy is a top 6 forward, but they're probably better than Kiviranta or Gurianov.
