Some PTO signings that have been working out great is Sprong and Milano.

I know it has nothing what we are talking about.

Both players should've been signed to contracts. Can't believe Milano took so long to sign. He was a great middle 6 winger last year.

He has been one of best wingers this year. Him and Kuzy have great chemistry and Mantha Kuznetsov Milano is a wrecking ball of a line.

Jackets lose, 4-2 against the Boston Bruins.

-Jake Christiansen draws a high-sticking penalty from Captain Nick, but we don’t do anything with it. We had our chances but couldn’t convert. And Boston’s starting their backup tonight, too…

-Gavi goes back into the box for hooking Pasta. Keep yourself under control, man…

-We kill that off. Good PK play so far.

-Charlie Coyle hooks Patty, and the Jackets end the first period on the power play. All in all, we started better than I expected. Watch the second period be a total shambles…

-It hasn’t been a shambles because it hasn’t had a chance to really get anything going. Not even any penalties!

-Now we got something. Johnny and that f*ckin’ rat get matching 2 minute minors: the rat for cross-checking, Johnny for slashing. 4-on-4 time.

-David Krejci high-sticks Gavi in the middle of the 4-on-4 to give us a power play. 4-on-3 time!

-HERE COMES THE BOOOOOOONE!!! CAPTAIN BOONE JENNER TIES THE GAME UP ON THE POWER PLAY!!

-Not too long after that, Andy gets sent off for interference on Tomas Nosek. Our PK has looked pretty solid since the Pasta goal, so I have faith.

-…AS SOON AS I F*CKING SAY SOMETHING. David Krejci takes a slapper that blows by Tarry. 2-1 Bruins.

-All things considered, I really expected us to be down by more as the second period fades to black. Last time we played Boston, we got shut out handly.

-Good, but boring play from both sides for the first ten minutes of the third. This is some good stat-padding for both goalies’ save percentages.

-Okay, now it’s just good for Jeremy Swayman’s save percentage. Boston scores two goals in 20 seconds. Taylor Hall scores his 13th on the year, and then 20 seconds later, Tomas Nosek scores on a wrister for his third.

-Pavel Zacha gets sent off for stick-holding, which gives Patty Laine an opportunity to flash THE SMOOTHEST ONE-TIMER IN THE GAME to make it a two-score game.

-This is pretty much exactly what I expected going up against a cup contender like the Bruins. I can’t be mad in the slightest. Let’s just hope we come out stronger against Dallas on Monday…
