Hawks winning would be more interesting because it makes LA vs VAN even bigger (upcoming game). But VAN has to win and their game will be decided before LA.

Chabot, Sanderson, Thomson, JBD is already better than your average D-core in terms of future, and there's the likes of Kleven coming in too.

The more I think about it, the more willing I am to take Slafkovsky there tbh. I think it’s most likely that Wright Cooley Nemec are the first 3 off the board (likely in that order), but Slafkovsky is just so good. He’s everything we need for Stutzle. Tkachuk-Norris-Joseph // Slafkovsky-Stutzle-Batherson // Formenton-Pinto-x as the young core pieces of the top 9, with C. Brown theres for now and the possibility of adding free agents, or a guy like Fiala or Boeser, and guys like Greig, Sokolov, Jarventie, Boucher, Crookshank, etc. in the system fighting for a spot there, looks VERY nice. Give the D a year to develop (hopefully at least one of JBD/Thomson cracks the 3rd pair full time next year and is a top 4 guy by the following year), and we’re a playoff team if we get average goaltending (hopefully Forsberg+Gustavsson works, and Sogaard is on the way too).

It's a terrific tool, but the trades and signings made on there are incredibly idiotic 99% of the time, the opinions are incredibly biased, people overvalue their teams' players on a regular basis (Including mainly but not limited to DET, NYR, MIN, TOR, MTL), the comments and replies are stupid and often vitriolic in nature, and it often just descends into name-calling and bickering if not outright insults-over what? A proposed hypothetical scenario. Not to mention that the usernames sound like 2-year-old-baby-talk.

Here, the takes made are (mostly) reasonable, and people are (mostly) civil. And the usernames are actually normal.

He's been terrific so far, especially defensively. Problem is that Point can't buy a goal these days. Kuch and Paul are doing all the work.

Personally, I want to see the Bruins play the Leafs; as theres no losing for me. I like the Bruins so if the Bruins win, it's a pretty big win for the them and I have a team to follow. If the Leafs win, I'm also game as they could go on a big run. It's a big win for both teams (defeating the other) but although I like the Bruins more; the Leafs winning is a storyline worth watching the most. But again if the Leafs win, and they get swept like round 2. That is the 1 in a million scenario that could actually happen and it would be a trainwreck, with an apocalyptic aftermath from Leafs fans that I would love watching.

I think the Bruins would prefer the Pens though because you bet on exposing DeSmith for getting an earliest lead in the Series.
