Not that much space if that happens just under 2 mil I think maybe a little less. Not the right deal because of that

Savard = 3.5m

In total, wsh gains 750k.

It’s better. We get the cap we need. I just wouldn’t want to get that much cap back but 🤷‍♂️

1.5M is fair compensation for 30+ points, not even taking into account he plays defense
even if he's signed until 39 you could trade him half retained near the end of his deal, 4M then will be like 3.25M now

Carlson is a defensive liability.
While Gallagher is great defensively

I get why it wouldn't make sense for WSH.
It would only make sense for MTL if they wanna contend.
Maybe Letang would be a better option tho.
If not, habs might explore carlsom

I agree he SUCKED at drafting 1st round, but in the later rounds, he drafted GEMS.


I still maintain my position that Bergevin is a good GM and a bad person, but he’s hardly the guy who made the decision on which prospect they draft in the 5th round. Joshua Roy continues to look like an absolute steal after all of the work he put in over the summer.

It's probably because he drafted Mailloux, but apparently the only guy who didn't want him is the newly appointed AGM.
