The craziest thing is… Buffalo could flip Matthew Tkachuk to another team for probably 2-4 first round pick value equivalents with retention (since he’s an RFA too)… if this offer is legit; Adams is saving the Sabres regardless if he keeps Tkachuk or not.

(Maybe even Ottawa 👀👀 @csick)

Straight up instead of waiting Buffalo should just pull the trigger on a 3 way trade where in the end Eichel ends up in Calgary, Tkachuck ends up in Ottawa with his brother, and Buffalo ends up with picks and prospects

Nah it’s likely just the Ottawa arguments. TSN talks about Brannstrom and the Sens defence everyday (multiple times a day) on the radio. It’s a really hot button issue lol

Was looking apparently it has ties to Calgary and Tkachuck lul cause with the Tkachuck to Buffalo then leaving talks sens fans are trying to find a way to reunite the bros and are using Brannstrom in trade scenarios

In general the cap hit is 3mill less now but Matthews QO is 9mill and who knows if hes gonna take an 8 year deal so is the 1mill in savings really worth it.
