So you’re telling me you’re keeping Kero, Comeau, Glendening, Raffl, Dellandrea and Back over Kiviranta who scored a hatty vs the Avs to give us the series, and don’t even use waiver exemption as an excuse Back, Dellandrea and Oettinger are all waiver exempt and are all worth more than Kiviranta and Peterson in terms of cap hit.

Edit: I didn’t even see Dellandrea there, I could name you 10 players in our AHL team more deserving than him to be on out opening night roster. I swear to god if I ever see Nill I’ll Tyson Fury his @ss.

Double edit: this is the reason why I put my expectations for this team so incredibly low so I don’t get disappointed, yet they still find a way to disappoint me.

Triple edit: I swear to god I wouldn’t be surprised if they traded Wyatt Johnston and our 2022 first round pick for Leo Komarov.

Quadruple edit: I’m praying that this has to do with the cap situation and not what it’ll look like, because if this is what it looks like then f*ck my life.

I think what they’re trying to do is get as close to the cap as possible to maximize Bishop’s LTIR usage or something like that, but I did the calculations and if you send down Oettigner, Dellandrea and Back (all waiver exempt), and call up Kiviranta, Peterson and Gardner you’re actually closer to the cap so it doesn’t make sense.

A considerable amount more than this year.

Would be pretty unlikely considering how poor their recent playoff performances have been.

I put them topping the Metropolitan in the regular season but I think they'll flop once again when the playoffs are due.
