I think Kane has another few good years left. And it would be awesome seeing him and Hughes together. But I agree he is not a need and thus, we shouldn’t spend a lot of future assets on him.

Mukhamadullin is a top prospect. Foote is also promising role player (middle six and PP). They are #4 and #7 in a very deep prospect pool.

If Kane came with an extension (say, like Pavelski’s first one in Dallas), maybe Foote+1st+2nd or similar.

If you extend Kane it’s worth it. I didn’t ask for Nemec, Holtz, or Hughes.
