I agree, personally I'd throw Leon in Tier 1A as well, but I think Mcdavids "rhythm" is what set him aside. I mean the pace and flow he provided the Oilers with his play. He just a defib, he brings life to the team and a fire. Leon is special, but Connor is king.

I think at this point signs point to Holl being the odd man out. For me this holdout has always been about ice time and fit within the lineup not money or term.

Kerfoot would never waive for Ottawa. He grew up 15 mins from Detroit . Yzerman will bring him home with compensation. Most likely a 1st round pick to take him on
