Ducks aren’t giving up quality picks for cap dumps. If they want to get to the floor they could do that by signing free agents. They are waiting for teams to get desperate to offload cap so they can get even more. Also that’s not even close to getting PLD

Switch the picks and we'll get to the cap floor THAT way. Otherwise, we have plenty of offers that will accomplish the objective: the Boston guys are dying to send us Mike Reilly for a third and the St. Louis guys are dying to send us Marco Scandella for a fifth.

Also not convinced Barron is some stud, Jets fans are just hung up on RHD and Dach might be a bust, taking a chance on some of the Habs other prospects might be a better move.

I don't agree about the a A prospects, but it all depends. The worst the Jets will do is Dubois' rental value, which depending on when it happens is pretty good.

I agree about Barron though, but that's what I mean about Montreal being a poor trading partner. For a bad team they don't have a lot of desirable prospects in their system. I don't know who you like on Montreal, but I think the Jets get a better return elsewhere.

Could probably go through the rosters of the true contenders like the Avs or teams on the edge of maybe making a run like LA and figure who they'd maybe part with for Dubois, it'd probably be a pretty underwhelming list of possibilities.

That should be the next plethora of Dubois trades, potential TDL trades to contenders or possible contenders, at least it'd be something different on here.. lol

That's true, different is good. With the Montreal trades it's the same 5 or 6 players over and over again in some unappealing combination, along with the Florida first.
