No interest. All 3 pieces the Jets are giving have more value on their own than both Montreal players together and both Montreal players are injured long term.

The Jets don't have the cap space or need for two cap dumps.

Jets TDL swings
Those are all pretty bad for the Jets.
It's pointless trading a young depth defenseman with term for an older, rental depth defenseman. The goal is to add depth at the TDL, not make lateral moves for players with less team control.
Appleton is needed, Toews isn't and doesn't move the needle for the Jets. Again the idea is to add depth, not move young players for rentals and not add depth.
Meier can control where he wants to extend and it won't be Winnipeg and the Jets don't need another expensive winger. Especially at the cost of a top 4 defenseman and 2 first round picks. The Jets can't afford to move a defenseman out without an upgrade defenseman coming back.

No chance the Jets trade PLD before the summer.
Horvat has no reason to sign an extension at this point of the season and why would he sign in Winnipeg when he can choose anywhere.

Laine back to Winnipeg
As nice as it would be to get Laine back, he won't be happy in Winnipeg and the Jets don't need anther expensive winger.

Dubois trade that works for both sides
There's certainly almost no chance Winnipeg adds their first to the deal if that is all that is coming back and they definitely won't be taking a cap dump back.
There's a fairly large difference between a 24 YO 1C and an okay 2nd line winger like Dach.

The first one is awful for the Jets.
The second works for Winnipeg, but probably not for Detroit.

PLD value jets fan
That's fairly good value, but PLD won't be moved before the draft lottery, if he is moved, so we'll know exactly where the pick is which will make a difference.
Harris as an LHD has no value to Winnipeg so he most likely needs to be replaced.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Boojets</b></div><div>Pionk is hurting the jets right now. He isn't a break even player right now he's a net negative and I'm not giving him away I'm getting 2 picks and his cap space which is almost 6mil. Not having Pionk in the lineup right now helps the jets.</div></div>
It's kind of pointless trying to debate this with you. You have your mind made up that a silly fan move to make a bad trade that no team fighting for firstplace in their division would ever do, is rational and don't want to allow logic into the discussion. I'll leave you to it.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Boojets</b></div><div>again objectively he has 6 seasons in the NHL and has performed like a top 4 dmen once... in a shortened season only playing the Canadian teams. Morrissey has been in the nhl for 7 years and had one meh season and one bad season but he also had 3 good seasons before his slip. These are not the same situations. SO when you use the word objectively I'm not sure how you look at Pionk's body of work and go.. Yup definitely a top 4 dmen.</div></div>
Yeah, you can look at his work and call him a top 4 defenseman objectively. It just sounds like you have a dislike for him for whatever reason and don't want to give him the credit for where he actually rates as an NHL defenseman.
The Morrissey thing isn't a comparison of what they had accomplished, it's a comparison of how fans think. The only ones I've heard campaigning to move Pionk are the same overreactionary ones that wanted to trade Morrissey for the last two years after every down game he had.
I get it, the Jets haven't looked as good the past couple weeks, let's panic, make someone the goat and make a bad trade.
Even if you want to stick with your evalution, it makes no sense to give that player away for nothing and not replace him. How does downgrading the defense make the team better?

Yeah, I know all the people that think Pionk isn't a top 4 defenseman are the same ones that thought Morrissey was awful and were trying to trade him for the past two years for any plug they could think of and the same ones that wanted to give Scheifele away for nothing this year.
I can understand that not everyone is going to like every player, but you need to be objective as to the player's actual skill level.

Realistic trade for Dubois Sorry Jets fans you must be tired of this
That's pretty decent value. Dvorak and Harris probably need to be replaced by pieces the Jets would need and/or want, but better than 99.9 % of Montreal fan offers we see on here.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Camper27</b></div><div>But, be wise here.... Don't run into the situation Edmonton & Toronto have with high end contracts with a few guys. Spread the salary throughout the roster, such as Boston... Deal with your head and not with your heart in this situation...</div></div>
A prefect explanation of how Jets management should be thinking.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Benzino204</b></div><div>Schmidt's bad contract is off the books, and Wheeler's contract would be gone as well; leaving 14.2 million. Add another 6.9 to that with Demelo, and Dillon's contracts expiring. So there is 20 million. They could easily extend Scheifele, PLD, if he stays, and Hellebuyck, with a Meier extension.
And that is based on this year's cap; which will increase by a million next year, and more after that.</div></div>
My response is exactly that same as <a href="/users/camper27" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@camper27</a> said below. He laid out the situation perfectly.

Dubois sign and trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MoxNix</b></div><div>That's not true, a few years ago Dubois said he wanted to play for Montreal.
Gaudreau was just stringing Treliving and the Flames along. Everyone knew it except Treliving. It was surprising he went to Colorado rather than Philly or New Jersey but that just proves he was lying all along about wanting to go home. Especially since Columbus only offered him a little more than NJ did and a lot less than Calgary did.
Tkachuk, virtually all those rumors were coming out of St Louis. The Dubois rumors aren't coming from Montreal they're coming from everywhere. That doesn't mean he'll wind up there but they're based on more than just a few homer writer's dreams and wishes.</div></div>
That's not true. All the rumours originated in Montreal when Dubois' agent said that Dubois wouldn't mind playing for Montreal someday when a Montreal reporter asked him directly if PLD would like to play for Montreal someday.
Well find out this summer, one way or the other.

Dubois sign and trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MoxNix</b></div><div>Matthew Tkachuk was a sign and trade. The Dubois situation in Winnipeg is very similar. If Dubois is willing to go to more than one team like Tkachuk was Winnipeg could wind up getting a decent haul for him too but you won't get that from Montreal if it's the only place he wants to go.</div></div>
Which is what I said. Very rare. From what we know now, the only thing PLD had said is that he wants to get to UFA, presumably to maximize earnings, he hasn't said he has any preferred destination.
So, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
Montreal can certainly wait for the sure thing signing. Just like Gaudreau was a sure thing for Jersey, Tkachuk was a sure thing for St. Louis and Trouba was a guarantee to go to Detroit. It more than likely works just as well for Montreal.
