We already have Kerfoot type players in our pipeline, And 5'9" Voit if you bother to look Yzerman drafts bigger players and a late 1st round pick doesn't get Tyler Bertuzzi. If you can't include Matthew Knies then well Bertuzzi wont be wearing a Leafs Jersey anytime soon.

You have to give to get. Knies isn’t a blue chip prospect. Similar to how Leaf fans were hyping up Robertson like he was the next generational/franchise talent based on his D+1 goals in the CHL.

That's a fairly easy no from Winnipeg. Nylander isn't valuable enough to get a top 6C in return without a big add, so the add to Nylander to get a PPG 1C would be huge.

Scheifele has more PPG in career, more PPG in playoffs career, more physical, better defensively, he is cheaper. Also centers carry more value than wingers.

He’s also older and a head case lmao. Also Mark Scheifele is a terrible defender lol. if you want to look at this from the POV that centers are more valuable than wings then I should remind you Nylander entered the league as a center and was a pretty good one too.
