Anderson is a very good valuable player (probably a mid first). I don't know how you can call a guy at .6 ppg at 2.7 Mill a cap dump, and Kidney has top 6 potential. With this draft being a$$ this isn't an awful offer

Don’t kid yourself with Anderson being worth a mid first. He has a terrible contract that he hasn’t been living up to, and nobody is giving up a first for that. Drouin, even with half retention, is a major liability. Do you get a healthy really good Drouin, or what’s more likely to happen, you get the consistently injured/personal problem and not so good Drouin. The “if” you included in the addition details of the trade, is a big one, because the odds are stacked against. Kidney is decent, haven’t seen much of his junior play yet, and then there is a magic bean in a third round pick.

It does but not for mock trades like this. This trade isn't even close. The Devils have no reason to accept this. Neither player is needed and both have horrible contracts and could be considered to have negative value, the 3rd doesn't change much, Kidney is a good prospect but not worth 5OA. Additionally, Top 5 picks are almost never traded.

Make a better, somewhat realistic trade and you'll get constructive criticism.
