I wouldn't trade Roy or Guhle for Dubois 1-for-1. Those two are gonna be special players... you don't give up on guys like that

McDavid can get A LOT more then 2 late firsts, an early second, 1 great prospect and 2 good prospects and 1 AHLer and a cap dumb

For McNugget, we are probably replacing a first with this years first, Hoffman for Dvorak and Brook for Suzuki

You're right they shouldn't do it for a 0.66 P/GP (last three seasons) player without a contract.

If Dubois and Zuki are in the same trade, WPG adds probably a first of some sort. Suzuki is MUCH better than PLD

I think Dubois would cost at least Barron and Oilers 2022 1st. Or MTL 2022 1st, if it's not 1st overall.

It doesn't matter if Montreal would do it, because the Jets sure as hell wouldn't. A high quantity, low quality offer like this one doesn't warrant anything more than a "thanks for calling, but please take us off your call list" from the Jets.

Pretty much. The Jets have an abundance of LHD prospects/young players (Heinola, Samberg, Stanley, Chisholm, Kuzmin and Johannesson) not to mention the established LHD (Morrissey, Dillon, Schmidt)

They are a year apart in age, same position.
PLD career .66pt/game
Suzuki career .68pt/game
identical playoff point production.
if anything PLD size is more desirable than Suzukis

RHD are typically more in demand than LHD

Suzuki was better in the 20-21 season, but other then that PLD has been the better player and not to mention PLD had two pretty impactful seasons in the NHL already before Suzuki was already in the league. There is also only 1 year of age difference between the two.

Suzuki is a lot better than PLD in the defensive side. Also Suzuki's points will go up a lot but PLD is probably staying in a 60-70 pt territory

And you are greatly exaggerating Suzukis defensive side.
PLD is generating more chances for, less chances against, more goals for, less goals against, more xgoals for, less xgoals against..
