I can confirm I've seen the Armia to Calgary rumours. I can think of one "source" off the top of my head and it's not someone I put much stock in. Still, it's quietly out there.

Been an odd and interesting offseason thus far. Let's see what happens with this.

I guess you haven't been paying attention to the multiple reports that EDM is frustrated by the lack of interest in Puljujarvi. Have a listen to Friedman and Marek. They touch on it a few times during their podcasts. If you get a 2nd for him at this time, it'll be a win.

Why would Habs sacrifice any assets, let alone a very good RD prospect, a 21-yr old C filled with untapped talent, and a Bedard lottery ticket for a guy they can sign for free (if he actually wants to play in MTL) 82 games from now, especially when they have no intention of being competitive this season??

Embarrassing.

Spirit of competition is the essence of sports. Blackhawks aren't even pretending to attempt to ice an NHL-caliber roster and they'll potentially be rewarded with a generational talent they don't deserve.

Davidson is basically hoping Toews and Kane come to him asking to get out just so he isn't seen as the guy who ran the two franchise icons out of town.

Easiest thing to do is tear apart a roster. Let's see if he's competent enough to build it back up...

I always loved the Blackhawks, but after the Kyle Beach story and this shameful tank job, I've lost all respect.

According to Dreger, there's not much of a market for Puljujarvi, which is frustrating the Oilers. I wonder what he ends up going for.

And as a MTL fan, the buyout candidate you're offering in this deal already came through here. He lasted one night, did cocaine with a pair of 19 yr olds, crashed his pickup, ended up in hospital, and was released as soon as he was discharged. Doubt we revisit that.

Also as a MTL fan, we already have one G on LTIR. No need to add another.

Habs haven't had actual centers down the middle in ages. They keep getting these wingers to play down the middle and it always fails (think Galchenyuk and Drouin most recently)
