What is everyone offering for Necas

Description
I figure it could help everyone to kind of see on one thread what are the offers for him from each team. That's why I'm not writing any of them down. The teams listed here are just teams I've heard have had at least a mild-moderate interest in rumors. Shortly put, this will help us all get an idea of who could be the highest and most logical bidder.

If you want to find a reality. Don't look to fans, look to comparables:

Jacob Trouba to NYR
Sam Reinhart to Florida
Alex Debrincat to Detroit
Kevin Fiala to LAK

I'd think assuming the deal is centered around a 1st

1st (mid-late)
B+ prospect/young controlled asset

Will be a lot of bidders around the same range, and probably comes down to the canes finding a prospect they like compared to a team blowing it up with pure value.

I don't think any of those are good comparables except for maybe Trouba due to circumstances around the trade... DeBrincat forced his way out, Reinhart traded him as part of blowing up the team, and Fiala was traded due to the sins of Chuck Fletcher and none of those teams were in the same place as the Hurricanes. I can see Necas being the centerpiece part of a trade that brings an upgrade to Carolina

Marty Necas is also on his way out due to cap reasons. It is the same.

If you can find me other examples of 25 year old RFAs who aren't quite stars being traded I'm happy to hear them.

Also I'd argue every single one of those players was better than Necas

I don't think Martin Necas is on his way out due to cap reasons... it's more about his role on the team (According to local insiders) and the fact that he wants to be the guy. I've done quite a few ACGM's where you can sign him and the rest of the key guys.

Issue is, Carolina have WAY more control than any of these situations. These are all players that the team either couldn't afford or wanted out. Necas is neither, Carolina can afford him, and he just wants first line minutes. He doesn't necessarily want a trade.

From what I've heard and read... It's seems like it's more like trying to use contract negotiations to force the coach to deploy him more.

Detroit offers:

Michael Rasmussen, Jake Walman and a 2nd

Middle six player with good size you can plug into your lineup who is cost controlled for four years.
Top pairing D-Man who can score on a good contract for two more years.

Ryan Strome, EDM 1st, and Jackson LaCombe would be about the peak I would think.

If both front offices and both players want a change, then a Zegras for Necas swap is in the cards, but Carolina is adding at that point.

I think the comparable is the PLD trade to the Kings, but I don’t think they valued the extension they were going to give appropriately.

Also a comp there yeah but that trade is going to lead to I think some hefty overvaluations of what Villardi was worth at the time.

Not as much as some people think he will.

Calgary offers 28th OA + Andrew Mangiapane or Walker Duehr.
