Yeah that's understandable. We need a strong defensive defenseman to play the right side. But if the price was right we would have to take Chychrun and figure it out.

I like Chychrun and think he is a very good Dman. Detroit LHDs coming out of our ears and big holes at other positions, Chychrun is a luxury we can't afford right now.

Can’t really see the Blues adding a Chychrun unless they somehow moved out both Krug and Faulk. He’s pretty much just a younger LHD Faulk, I’m not sure both together would be a great idea.

Edmonton has Ekholm, Nurse, Kulak and Broberg on the left side already, I don't see them bidding for Chychrun.

Would be surprised to see Washington bidding here. Fehervary and Sandin have set themselves pretty firmly in the top 4 on that left side, and I don't imagine MacLellan will be looking to give up premium assets for another LHD.

I agree but the last side will be better next season and ASP being a few years out. What little cap we have will do a lot more good bring in an RHD and that is why I referred to him as a luxury we can't afford right now.
