The gap between Jack Hughes and Brady Tkachuk is a LOT more than 2 1sts especially when Jack is on a cheaper contract with more term.

at 8 mill with 7 years of term there's not a more valuable asset in hockey than Jack, bar maybe Bedard

I'd argue he's nearing top ten, but he needs to take a significant step forward to just be near the top five and in a league with McDavid in it he's never gonna be the most valuable.

Jack has 7 at 8 mill

My valuation of Jack is about 16 mill AAV (56 mill in surplus value)
