arent they like the 2nd or 3rd tallest team? Wouldn't it just be easier to have them all eat pop tarts with butter for breakfast instead of making a really bad trade with a division rival?

You want to get bigger by acquiring our players 2 of which we aren't actively shopping and yet we are the ones adding picks?! Montreal passes quite easily

Totally agree, Mtl isn’t in a position to trade any high draft pick for a guy’s over 25.

You’re getting out of 2 awful contracts that probably cost more to dump than you’re giving up and you’re also getting far and away the best player in the trade. The value heavily favours Montreal here

Montreal isn't in the playoffs this year and may not be next year.
By the time they should be in the playoffs, Tuch is a rental as a pending UFA.
Doesn't make sense for either team, but Buffalo is the only one benefiting here.

It needs to be understood that Montreal does not currently need to pay to dump anything.
If you want the players we can talk, but if you want assets to take them, there's no conversation to be had.

Sabres don’t even consider this nonsense
1- zero interest in the always hurt Anderson
2- not trading Tuch, he’s gonna be our next Captain most likely & is pretty much untouchable

I can't see it being that easy to dump Anderson and Dvorak.

100% correct but you gotta realize nothing is good for Montreal fans unless they come up with the idea. They’re still of the belief that Anderson has positive value

That's BS and you know it, Dvorak is overpaid by like 500k-1 mil and his contract expires after next season so by the TDL next year we can retain half and get good value back on it. Anderson still has positive value amongst NHL GM's its just the fans on this site that think he is worthless (unless they get him on their team then all of a sudden he will have positive value. That's why fans keep trading for him like on this ACGM) Tuch gets paid 750k less than Anderson but I guarantee if he wasn't scoring this year Sabres fans wouldn't say he was a cap dump!

Barron still has late 1st early 2nd round value, sure he has some warts in his game but he is also only 22 and still very very young for a top 4 NHL D man.

Anderson and the 3rd is likely the cost to acquire Tuch, the rest is just a ridiculous overpay for 2 depth players

Dvorak is overpaid by 1.5M minimum. He’s a mediocre bottom 6 forward who is average offensively (except this year) and horrific defensively

Barron is a good piece. I agree with your value on him (late 1st-early 2nd)

Anderson is so much worse of a player than Tuch. And despite what Montreal fans say, Anderson has one of the worst contracts in the league and is a huge cap dump. No team wants him. Just because he can skate fast and hit doesn’t mean head valuable. He’s bad offensively and horrible defensively. Barron and the 1st probably covers the cost to dump him. Tuch then costs a 1st+
