Treliving won't make a move unless it gets really dicey. They'll probably bounce back tomorrow and hopefully get back on track. It's clear this defence isn't good enough though. Especially against MacKinnon. TO doesn't have enough on the Blueline to win a cup right now. Definitely have the forwards but additions are needed. Treliving needs to get this sorted quicker than I think he's capable of.

I dont mind McCabe out here and there as in that NYI game Rielly did take a big hit the final 3 mins and as we saw before when u do Matthew-Marner-Rielly if Matthews loses the faceoff Rielly aint the best defender. Would prefer though Liligren would say that but McCabe when hes not trying to replicate saucer passes like what Van did its fine. In general if we look at the goals you cant really blame the Dcore but more so the entire team or certain superstars

To be fair last offseason had nobody besides one guy who allowed **** to happen with the Hawks. Now we got 2 good options available for Keefe replacements

Woodcraft is a nice HC candidate as look at his last two playoffs.

First year HC: Beat out Todd McLellan (vet HC) and his LAK's, beat out Sutter and the Flames, and had a score fest on Bednar with the Avs but lost in 4, following year beat Todd McLellan again, and took Cassidy's VGK to 6 games

Lost in 7 to MTL (3-1 lead blown and got outcoached by Ducharme of all people)
Lost in 7 to TBL (Cooper was better will give him that)
Won in 6 to TBL (Some would say Luck), Lost to FLA in 5 (no adjustments)

Hes not the worst option to consider when we look at his first two year playoff record

But still I prefer Berube we need a guy whose won and will bring a tougher voice into the room. As Keefe feels like hes borderline lost the room and his 0 adjustments be a major issue rn

Am I the only one who doesn't like the idea of Berube? I'm sick of looking at track record when it comes to coaches. Berube isn't the guy we need, I personally think Evason would be the better guy to go after if thats the kind of coach we want.

Keefe isn't leaving for better or worse. He's a safe option for a GM just starting off in his new job.
