Lol, he's literally not good enough to make the Blue Jackets when they have injuries. He's not an NHLer

Yeah a guy making over 2 million that can't make your team is going to cost you to move. Peeke isn't an NHL player

Leafs do not want Sean Walker according to EF
Explain why Peeke is worth grabbing? He was absolutely caved in all last season and isn't even in the lineup for a worse defensive team than the leafs.

Getting Tanev without giving up a 1st
I'd sooner give up a 1st than Timmins. He's rounding into form and is desperately needed. He's the only guy beyond Rielly who can move the puck out of our end. Keep him on the 3rd pair and he'll be a big boost for his. Tanev is needed as well but he's also not who he used to be. I think a bigger move for a younger better player may be the way to go.

Depth
The leafs need Timmins, he's the only other defenceman on the roster who can effectively move the puck out of our zone. He isn't getting traded.

I am not sure. Not some old guy who's just lost to time. I dream of Cooper being the coach but he's not leaving Tampa any time soon

Man nothing changes with Keefe. He never adjusts and it's not working. He just doesn't seem like the guy to get them over the top.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GMBL</b></div><div>I get that some people would want to move off of him because of his injuries but it's crazy that he doesn't get any recognition. If he was on a different team and on the block, they would probably be giving a 1st for him. Like Palhal says "The Leaf players always suck and everyone else's players are always better" or in other words "Everyone is worse when they put on the white and blue."</div></div>
It's mind numbing. The Leafs defence can't get the puck out of their zone and many are too slow to prevent clean zone entries. Better trade Liljegren so we can get a really slow guy who hits. It's insane

It is shocking how many leaf fans just don't understand the problems with our Blueline. Liljegren is going to be top by the playoffs and will play well. He's very good and will continue to grow.

Okay I guess. But the reality of this team, is they are barely treading water and the defence is a problem. Lageson and Benoit not killing us is good but it's not a solution

This is a myth. We don't need big physical guys to stand in front of the net. We need more speed and puck movement on the back end. Hopefully in players who can also add some physicality. But right now, the Leafs aren't closing gaps at our Blueline meaning we make it way to easy for teams to gain entrance into our zone and once they do, we aren't good at getting the puck back and up the ice. Rielly is, Timmins has been very good at that as well and Liljegren is terrific at denying zone entries. Big guys that are too slow to cut guys off along the walls are not what we need. One big brute to cross check guys in front is needed sure but after we get some more mobility because right now we have none.

He hasn't been terrible but he spends way too much time in his zone. He's not good enough to be anything but a 7/8 defenceman. Toronto isn't as good as their record and the defence is an issue. They aren't good at preventing zone entry and they are collectively terrible at getting the puck out of the zone. Liljegren needs to come back and take the bull by the horns

I don't get why all leaf fans want to dump Timmins. He's so desperately needed right now. Beyond Rielly, no one can get the puck out of our zone and TO spends all game defending. Timmins has been really good since he's come back and will get more and more ice time as he gets up to speed.

He has that this year. The need more of what he brings to be honest. Without him, Rielly is the only defenceman who can get the puck out of our end. Benoit has been surprisingly not terrible as well.
