Hes just been a nice fill in guy. Has some issues with penalties but meh he can be a rotation guy to solve that if need be.

He seems to be in a similar situation to Timmins was last year. Timmins given a few extra $100k as a reward for his good play. This year, especially before injuries, That $1.1M contract vs. $0.9M made it look like that difference would be enough to force him onto waivers.

Maybe we need to look at him as the Holl replacement.

Guys the solution to the Willie issue is obviously Reinhart. He will come in below Willie's aav and is basically as valuable while playing an identical role (C/RW).

He is also better defensively. Only issue is the risk he won't sign here or signs early

Guentzel when hes healthy is a solid scorer and has pretty good playoff production, Ehlers just does everything you like in a wing, and Reinhart seems like a guy who you could pair with JT and things could get interesting

But yea its not like its just Willy or bust there are 2-3 options. THAT SAID there is also a lot of risk in that to. As if you let him walk and get neither back oh boy that wont look good lul

Reinhart is not better defensively. And he's certainly not as good as Willy. That is a player who's underlying numbers do not match his current production.

He is 100% better defensively. Been underratedly one of the better two-way forwards in the league for some time now.

Even if he's in the 90's very few players do that consistently and all make huge money. People grinding in Willy thinking literally any winger who has had some decent seasons is good enough are ridiculous.
