Disagree about that. Forsberg is a legit star. 40 goal scorer and two-way player. Averages 30 goals per 82 games in his career. He gets overlooked playing in Nashville.
He’s very inconsistent. If you average out his last 4 years, he’s a lot closer to an average 1st liner than a star. Last season his shooting % predictably regressed

I like Forsberg. And on a related tangent, Duchene, Johansen and Granlund. Although they spiralled this season and all 3 departed, the 2021-2022 season they had was impressive to me (including Forsberg). They all had great chemistry and put up good numbers. For me, it's hard to tell if the way they played that season was an instance where everything went their way and came together, or an actual measure of their abilities. Nevertheless, I think Forsberg will have a good season. Some new blood in the lineup and some seasoned guys coming in should be good for the teams stability. Since last year felt like they could never find their footing due to injuries and players getting moved. The other 3 guys I also expect to find success on their new teams.
Wilson has only had one significant injury. The reasons why he has missed games in the past is suspensions. And he looked great coming of the acl tear. I think we will be ok.

Forsberg is a great player , he just hasn’t put 2 star seasons together in a while. Still extremely talented and a legitimate 1st line winger
How exactly? Both are, as @pinslack mentioned, the soul of their team, and their performance prior to the contract signing is pretty even. Even their cap hit is similar.
The playstyle of Wilson is also quite similar to Gallagher, both are power forwards that put everything they got on ice. That type of players typically drop off a cliff at 30+ when the wear simply starts to take its toll on their bodies. Gallagher is just few years ahead of Wilson in this, given he's couple of years older. During his prime he didn't miss many games, but after a while the injuries started to pile on top of each other. I have no reason to believe that wouldn't happen with Wilson either.
I know you're biased towards Wilson, but there isn't much difference between prime version of him and prime version of Gallagher, other than their size.
It’s a very fair comparison. He is a power forward. His game relies on his physicality. This contract is going to age horribly when he isn’t physically able to keep up

All of them are fair comparisons. Those comparisons failed rlly bad and were awful contracts. It’s not looking good at all
at 8:35 into this video the NHL shows Holloways first preseason goal and one can very easily tell it was the preseason because Jake Virtanen is one of his linemates. idk why the would make such a dumb mistake, was nobody double checking this kind of stuff? Also found it funny it feels like half the Habs roster last season was in this video
Hell my school’s student council is covered on the news more then that tournament
It's Canada's tournament and it was played in Czech, so I can see why the Refs were bias. They're also the Refs from the Czech top league so it makes sense. Still couldn't hold off Canada.

Did you see Canada getting effed on the *** by a horrible finnish tea
Stupid tournament...
