No crying, all your trades paint winnipeg into identical corner they are now, take on lesser players and strive to remain mediocre in the middle of the pack. Jets need more extended trade trees with team control and picks over any of this.

Nylander is just so much better than Scheifele and much more of a team player.

If toronto were to move him it would def be a swap for a top-4 d-man not another top 6 forward

you're yet close to understand that you still can flip Nylander at TDL for more picks nor to see to do the same with Markstrom and even Niederreiter or DeMelo. Getting Wood to build around Barron, Perfetti, Lucius and Lambert, help more than you can or wish to see. Therefore you're too salty to look forward and paint me in wrong corner cause you're frustrated. Also having Adin Hill can be good for your future too if you can get a real young great goalie ...

could see Scheifele replace ROR role, I know you wish to get a top 4 d, but 1vs1 those two are close in value.

CGY with a true 1st goaltender could go far into playoff, the price asked is under market value, but Ruzicka is a mystery box.

Hawks arent trading young players or picks for aged veterans even at 50% retained.

Not frustrated at all just a piss poor build, so transition nylander to Winnipeg and hope he has a good year to attempt a flip at the tdl, that’s the strategy? Why is chicago buying wheeler and why is he waiving for a rebuild? Why is Calgary adding helly and why is he going to another mediocre circumstance, bit of a lateral move and no closer to home. And why is arizona trading out of a high pick when they have a ridiculous amount of picks going forward, why not just take best player available and keep building. Should I add to mediocre Dubois return or said enough all ready. Like I said just stick to Montreal builds

your prooving your frustration cuz you don't want to see in plain sight what can and will be done. You want too much.

By 2024 tdl Niederreiter, DeMelo, Dillon, Nylander are flipped for Picks and prospect (and still help to decrease cap hit). Kids like Regula (from wheeler who's will be flipped by Chicago at tdl), Salomonsson, Heinola and Lundmark might even get few ice time by the end of 2024 season.

Morissey - Pionk
Heinola - Regula
Schmidt - Salomonsson
Lundmark

You will have 3 to 4 years rebuild but at least have a d-corp and few great offensive talents.

Helleybuck will take CGY in a playoff run while they change their coaching staff.
Chicago bring back a former cup winner to flip him and give away few kids that won't fit their window. (7 -8 years rebuild)

You guys always play on your hometown point of view, but from a capologist pov no need to rush a rebuild.

So cgy going to lose helly for nothing, wheeler didn’t win a cup, not sure your up on chevys past trades, but very few and they all look for team control or picks other than dumping goalie to Montreal and protecting enstrom in flipping picks. But keep on how you know better.

No he doesn't. The team in general needed a culture change and that was done by firing Sutter. Marky played perfectly fine at the end of the season. Plus Hellebuyck is going to get 9M on his next deal and we should not be forking that out with Wolf coming up soon

Like Scheifele was some amazing playoff performer this year? Nylander every year outside of the Jets playoff run like 4-5 years ago has been better in the playoffs

Nylander is younger and better there really isn't much debate here. They're close in goals and Nylander is a much better playmaker and more skilled. Scheifele is on the wrong side of 30 and only getting worse while Nylander is just heating up

ROR is a proven leader that's strong in the playoffs and plays the tough game. Scheifele is the exact opposite of that. He is a regular season ppg game (or at least he was) which disappears when it matters and isn't much of a strong leader.

IMO Nylander is much more valuable. Nylander is younger and better. They're close in goals and Nylander is a much better playmaker and more skilled. Scheifele is on the wrong side of 30 and only getting worse while Nylander is just heating up

This issue is though any Nylander trade that happens the leafs are going to lose.

I'm not a leafs fan but I'd be much happier either just keeping him or sending him to the flames for Tanev and a pick.

Glad you got your personal opinion out, both headed for ufa status and nylander not extending in Winnipeg if he gets there, so not worth the trade of scheifele, just in an attempt at trying to up the return with a trade of nylander, just trade scheifele for picks and prospects and whatever else outright. Some perfect perfect storm is a bad approach in my opinion

for you it's always who know better or not ... that's prove that you barely can agree to disagree and therefore show some homerism ... but Winterpeg is the criminal capital of Canada and delusionnal nation too. Have fun through rebuild!

If you state like that then yes I see your point, just a weird/bad trade overall for either team in general and worst ways to extract value from either player.

Too bad the jets won't have the balls to actually do it so this is unrealistic based on not knowing what the team direction is. Until we see trades and messages were all just assuming
