Not frustrated at all just a piss poor build, so transition nylander to Winnipeg and hope he has a good year to attempt a flip at the tdl, that’s the strategy? Why is chicago buying wheeler and why is he waiving for a rebuild? Why is Calgary adding helly and why is he going to another mediocre circumstance, bit of a lateral move and no closer to home. And why is arizona trading out of a high pick when they have a ridiculous amount of picks going forward, why not just take best player available and keep building. Should I add to mediocre Dubois return or said enough all ready. Like I said just stick to Montreal builds
your prooving your frustration cuz you don't want to see in plain sight what can and will be done. You want too much.
By 2024 tdl Niederreiter, DeMelo, Dillon, Nylander are flipped for Picks and prospect (and still help to decrease cap hit). Kids like Regula (from wheeler who's will be flipped by Chicago at tdl), Salomonsson, Heinola and Lundmark might even get few ice time by the end of 2024 season.
Morissey - Pionk
Heinola - Regula
Schmidt - Salomonsson
Lundmark
You will have 3 to 4 years rebuild but at least have a d-corp and few great offensive talents.
Helleybuck will take CGY in a playoff run while they change their coaching staff.
Chicago bring back a former cup winner to flip him and give away few kids that won't fit their window. (7 -8 years rebuild)
You guys always play on your hometown point of view, but from a capologist pov no need to rush a rebuild.
