Tkachuk is a monster. That trade set the stage for this playoff run. Of. course, you need more than one piece and a hot Goalie. But, this would've never happened w/ Huberdeau.

Huberdeau had 5 pts in 10 playoff games last season. He’s strictly an off the rush player who won’t play any other way. It wasn’t hard to make him ineffective in the playoffs, he’s talented enough to add that aspect to his game - he got too comfortable.

If Huberdeau produced like a star in the playoffs last season they might have gotten past Tampa.

Bob has definitely played a significant role in the panthers success, but Tkachuk has been equally as valuable. Over a point per game, 3 OT game winners, elite at both ends of the ice and never gives up on a play. The ultimate superstar grinder

Damn near flawless game up until that goal and then you could just feel the train coming. Hill with a monstrous save on Johnston which looked like the winner when he let it fly. Granted they're your team, but I haven't had that big a problem with their response most of the year. But they have sucked in extra time since October. Game 3 they'll come out swinging.
