It doesn’t make sense for MTL to sign PLD, he’s not a 1C and neither is Suzuki. MTL should continue tanking in hopes of drafting that Franchise 1C or attempt to trade for a high upside young center like byfield /Rossi

If all pld can get Chevy is Dvorak and 31 I guess that isn’t all that bad. Obviously you’d want waaay more, but those are 2 atleast useful assets. I wonder if Dvorak would waive for the Jets to begin win though.

Dvorak has an 8 team no trade list, Winnipeg isn't necessarily on there

Suzuki is an 1c, he will never become that franchise 1c but he already is a 1c, Montreal's also already 2 years into their rebuild, they're not going to tank, they're starting the curve back up

Suzuki can’t drive his own line and he doesn’t really do anything at an elite level. He’s a very good 2C, he’s not currently one of the top 35 centers in the league.

D gonna need work but a 2 year transition period to let the kids get better isnt a bad idea

Bergeron's a question mark career wise, also I'm not even sure which Strome that is but no, Ryan/Dylan Strome aren't better, Chytil is a hot take, so is William Karlsson, PLD and Suzuki are similar-ish caliber centers ( even though they have totally different playstyles )

Lists are almost never revealed to the public. He put it out to Sens management so whats on it will be speculative

Probs would guess

Carolina, Edmonton, New Jersey, Toronto, Seattle, Rangers, Colorado, Tampa, and Boston are the teams hes fine going to. Some not realistic but thats usually the case (OEL between Van and Bos)

Carolina and NJ make the most sense

I’ll also add Kadri and Brock nelson. Going off of the last 2 seasons. If Beniers repeats this season he’s also ahead of Suzuki

Ain't no way I'd have Tavares as the 8th best C in the NHL lmao.
Coincidentally I would take both Lindholm and Karlsson over Kadri at this point in time, but that may just be my Swedish bias.

No I’m pretty sure it was New York or nothing (though perhaps that included the isles I don’t know).


It's been speculated that PLD wants to end up in Montreal. Whether that's through trade or FA. Nobody ever came out and said that, but I don't think anybody in NHL history has said something like that publicly.

Yah that makes sense. And based on the amount of speculation I do think he’ll end up there but I just can’t see Winnipeg giving him up for next to nothing. Now, if it is true that he won’t play anywhere but Montreal then that definitely could be the case, but that pretty much never happens in the NHL so I don’t see it.

i would also say they're all better than me, i cant even skate much less play ice hockey (but i am an elite floor/road/ball hockey player)
Chytil, Karlsson, JEE all hot takes imo, PLD, Cozens, DStrome are all probably around the same level

I’m guessing he’s trying to find a good solid role on a contender

The wings seem like a cool idea. I’m a blues fan and think it would be fun if he were a blue. I’d rather not play against him a ton so out of my conference plz.

Cause look what happened with Vrana. Like u can go yea but they got ABC. Sure but within 2 years basically got robbed for him by STL

VGK cant afford him, Dallas would be tricky, NSH should be rebuilding and if they do this will be going so we staying in mediocrity.

Really surprised Carolina aint on his preference list

He would be perfect there as they want scoring and he would add some serious fire power
