Detroit would laugh at this offer. If things have truly gone that badly between player and team theirs likely 15 other playoff teams that beat this offer fairly easily
You're probably right that other teams could beat the offer, but the 1st+ good prospect+ B prospect/3rd sort of package would definitely be in the ballpark. It would simply come down to which prospect Detroit would prefer.
Also note that some playoff teams like Tampa and Florida don't have their 2023 or 2024 1sts which already removes two teams from the equation, so that's only 13 teams to compete with.
Of those remaining 13 teams a few already have great center depth and probably wouldn't want to mortgage their future on renting Larkin... Like Edmonton, Calgary, and Pittsburgh for example.
A few bottom seeded teams probably won't be as all-in as Colorado either. Teams like St Louis, Dallas, Minnesota, LA, Nashville, NY Rangers.
Point being, although there would clearly be plenty of competition it wouldn't be 15 teams.
Worth noting that other forwards like Patrick Kane will also be on the market so the Avs will have options.
