<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>justaBoss</b></div><div>I don't know anything about Beaucage, but shouldn't the fact his point statistics didn't change at all from the year he was drafted suggest that he's still about worth just that mid 3rd pick?</div></div>

No, it should't. If you look at the quality of his linemates and team overall from season to season you'll notice a huge change in quality, as the team went from champions (losing 8 games) to losing 30 games this season. And yet despite that Beaucage has still managed to put up 1 goal more in 5 less games.

In 2018/19 Beaucage was 3rd with 79 points in 68 games, and played with two guys putting up 85 and 111 points.

This season he's by far the leading scorer with 70 points in 63 games, and his 40 goals are almost double the next player on the team.

It's easy to just look at his totals and assume that he hasn't progressed, but the fact is that he's now carrying the teams offense on his own, and it's pretty remarkable that he's still putting up points at over PPG pace without any support.

That's why I think it's fair to say that his stock has risen this year, because he's proven that he can drive offense by himself rather than being a product of a good team or other linemates.
