avs decline, Girard is three times the player Andersen is, and don't need picks. Coyotes arent taking on a bad cap dump for nothing either

this is worse than the habs fans at the draft giving MSL a 5 minute standing ovation after the team came in 32nd

Send a 1st with Savard and the Jackets will take him. Otherwise, find another team to dump him on.

ya what a bunch of a-holes cheering for their new coach who wasnt in any way responsible for the team finishing 32 and helped jumpstart caufield which alone was a massive bonus. Hate fans that cheer for their team.

what exactly is the reference for that? what do habs fans think he will be and are you saying he will be that by the end of next season when he signed his extension?

Let’s put it this way. Some habs fans say they would rather have caufield to moritz seider. How much do you think seider is worth? Now obviously caufield is not seider but if that’s how habs fans view caufield, expect caufield to fetch 1-2m under what seider fetches

All I’m saying is is that if you didn’t win anything other the draft lottery, you don’t deserve a standing ovation in the first place. He’s a decent coach but it’s wayyyyy too early to call him a good coach or a bad coach.

What you missed was 8 pts in i think 32 games for Caufield under Ducharme including an AHL stint and time on the 4th line.
22 goals and 35 pts in 37 games under MSL on top line

He showed MTL wasnt going to bust, lose or trade away another 1st round draft pick
He's actually lived up to the hype under MSL who utilizes PP2 first and PP1 second allowing Caufield to sneak in uncovered and snipe
Teams couldnt figure out how to handle it

Point is MSL did what Claude Julien and Dom Ducharme failed to in helping the youth succeed
Where we finished after an NHL record in LTIR with 52/81m on LTIR at one point with mostly AHL players
MSL took the worst team with only Suzuki really succeeding regularly and helped many players succeed mostly younger players but some coming into their prime.
Dvorak had 18 pts in 22 games under MSL and Pitlick i believe it was 21pts in 35 games jumping to 2nd Center with minute increase from 13-18mins to 18-23 mints

Lehkonen had 6 goals 10pts in 16 games under MSL including a 5 game point steak of 6 goals 8pts just before the TDL
That allowed us to get the RD piece we've been missing and a 2nd rounder

Chiarot had 2 goals and 9 pts in 12 games under MSL including 9pts in 9 games once moved to RD beside Romanov.
That allowed MTL to not only get a 1st round pick plus more when everyone said was impossible from Chiarot under Coach Ducharme anyways

None of that coulda happened with MSL
The returns we got , the progress we made woulda been non existent without MSL even if Richardson took over.interim
MSL breathed new life into the team and built around Caufield and Suzuki instead of trying to have them fit the mold of Veteran players

Say what you will but few teams have had as many Coaching Changes as MTL 1994-now
We have had Coaches reused i think 3 times in that period so its RARE to see this type of Progress especially under a Molson

never heard a single person say he was going to be better than matthews and most analyst going into the season had caufield as the calder favorite but sure

wouldnt it make more sense to be comparing what caufield would get against other wingers? RHD may be the most overpaid position right now that entire statement is completely pointless lol. but again all this "some habs fan' quote i feel like i would be hearing this all the time but its good to have fans of other teams tell me what habs fan think lol.
