Ben Gaudreau didn't want to sign with the Sharks, I'd expect him to be traded/redrafted. Kind of surprised the Habs haven't signed Nissen Dichow yet, he's been good, I'd have expected a couple of those 2021 CGY picks to be signed too, Puistola was the guy the Oilers got for Pulju so Edmonton might've just wanted to move Pulju for the sake of moving him I guess

A bit yes, Dichow’s been good, he had a .911 in 5 games at these past WC’s, he’s looked like a goalie who could be a good AHLer, maybe do something in the NHL, apparently though he’s still signed in Europe for the upcoming season so that may have played a factor

6' LHD, Skates Well, has pretty good puck skills, and vision could look too refine his defensive game, and getting stronger but overall I think he'd be a nice project pick probably in the 2nd round for me, but if he snuck in the first I wouldn't hate it for the team

Who will be the biggest surprise pick as in goes a lot higher than typically mocked?

My Answer: Nate Danielsson

Strongest opinion you have on this draft?

My Answer: Oliver Moore is getting too much hype, he feels very zoomy but doesn't really play too his biggest strengths skill wise. I think he should be picked in the 15 range.

Favorite later round pick:

Yegor Sidorov - He's an overager but an absolute stud, was well above PPG with Blades this season, and was impressive every time I watched.

Maxim Strbak. I think he'll jump into the first round as an RD choice for MTL at 31 (and Slovakian selection).

Either Bedard will go at 1, or Reinbacher will go at 6

Favorite later round pick:
Cameron Allen. He could be having a down year this year and if he's taken in the second round or lower, he might become a steal.
