These returns definitely aren't all equal. I'm curious why MIN is the only team getting the retention? Aside from the underwhelming package from PIT, I don't think Fiala and a 2nd is a better package than the rest of them.

I would prefer the Jets keep Scheifele if this is all that is available. The only one that contains a player that the Jets need would be the Colorado one and it would only be Newhook that the Jets need.

How many times does it have to be said? Jarvis is not getting traded, and he isn’t getting traded for Sheifele. Not to mention, Canes aren’t going to trade for Sheifele. So stop doing these trades.

That being said, the only trade that might even go down is the Minnesota trade, and I don’t think Winnipeg is going to retain on him, so I guess none of those trades happen, especially that Colorado one, yeesh

I would by far take the Penguins offer. Right shot RW in Kapanen would be a nice piece but also a young RHD in Marino to play with Morrissey would also be much needed. Or Marino plays with Samberg or Heinola would also be great for years to come.
