Offseason jackets
Doubt LA says yes to that. I personally love Moore as a player and would love this deal but he is quite good for them, they lose this trade.
No way Calgary does that either, Wolf is nearly if not completely untouchable
Other 2 trades say no from the Jackets

while that is good value for kent, I'd rather keep him. enough moving back, we have enough prospects, it's time to start progressing forwards

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caniac2000</b></div><div>Freddie's literally only played 6 games, and it was when the team was playing like garbage. He's also 5-1 and still statistically the best of the three we have, and he was SIGNIFICANTLY better in the playoffs than Merzlikins has ever been. When Freddie is back, the Canes will have a shot.
Boone is an older, ageing, injury prone version of KK. If they get traded one for one, the team getting younger wins, easily.</div></div>
5-1 due to the team in front of him. Stats speak so. And is Pyotr not better? Stats speak so. Freddy also had a much better regular season last year than now, and his playoff career has been hit or miss. Elvis played well with a good defense in front of him, which was only his rookie year. Back then he had 5 shutouts in 8 games, and a .923. Team in front of him has been **** since. Freddy has the best defense in the league in front of him and still not putting up good numbers this. The skaters are winning the games this year, not the goalies

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Davioparker</b></div><div>Its a crazy overpay - you're aware that Freddie has been out all season right? Why would the Canes trade their starting goalie, a 23 year old center locked up on a great deal long term, and futures for Boone Jenner? We have Boone Jenner at home (Jordan Staal)</div></div>
yes I can see he's only played 6 games. But in those 6 he's played like **** with the best defense in the league in front of him. As I said to someone else, Canes don't need Boone, but if they trade him for KK that's a Columbus loss.
"great deal long term" 8 year nearly 5 mill per for a bottom 6 player loooool

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caniac2000</b></div><div>Freddie's played 6 games and is a starting goalie. Elvis is a fringe backup making 5 million.
KK's better defensively, better age, better creator. This is a bad overpayment for a middle six guy.</div></div>
let me repeat. Said "starting goalie" who is 4 years older making 3.4 is playing worse than said fringe backup, with a significantly better team in front of him. Literally the only thing keeping the Canes down rn is goalies, when you have a different goalie than fred playing better. You have the best defense in the league and above mid scoring. Lacking goalies. Canes don't need Boone, but if they trade him for KK that's a Columbus loss

Who says no
makes sense tbh. Columbus needs a goalie, Laine is Barkov's best friend and thrives on deep teams.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caniac2000</b></div><div>Canes pass on the Nashville deal. Like Saros, but he's having a down year and doesn't have enough value for Necas.
Canes pass the CBJ deal. Kotaniemi is already a Jenner comparable while being 6 years younger. Why are we adding for someone who puts up similar point totals to KK? AND the organization's starting goaltender? No. Stop it.
Probably a little much for Duclair on his own, who has all of 17 points. I'd want more than that for that kind of return</div></div>
Boone is a much better goal scorer than KK, better faceoffs, and a better contract. Freddy is playing worse than Elvis this year, with one of the best teams in front of him lol
This is a bit of an overpay, but not by that much. These pieces don't really help columbus that much anyway. Depth they're full of, and late round picks, they already have a deep pool. I think they'd want quality player/prospect over quantity.

Burger for Bam Bam
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LikeABoss</b></div><div>I was originally thinking Fabbri + Kostin + Burger + 1st, which doesn't require any retention, but think Red Wings fans would balk. Kostin is a solid bottom 6 banger, and is only 24, but calling him a tweener is fair. Berggren is only 23 and IS an NHL player, but isn't going to get a spot this season because GR has a shot at making the playoffs and the Wings needed to carry 3 goalies all season... Berggren should be playing in the NHL this season, but Detroit is doing Detroit things with their prospects because he didn't need waivers to go up and down...
I think Jenner should finish his career with CBJ, but he'd be a good fit on any line in Detroit.</div></div>
I'm really split on Jenner because he's loyal and effective for us, but his value is at an all time high right now. And he doesn't seem to be much of a leader either. I defend his value, but I wouldn't mind getting an overpay for him
